Newborn Baby Mini Sessions – Short & Sweet
Our Newborn baby Mini Sessions are short & sweet and perfect for those of you who want us to capture your beautiful newborn baby but don’t want a full bespoke 2 to 3 hour long session using multiple props and accessories.
What are the differences between our bespoke Newborn Baby Session and a Newborn Mini Session other than price?
During our bespoke full Newborn Baby Sessions, we have the benefit of 2 to 3 hours’ time to capture many different set-ups using various different props. We allow plenty of time for feeding, changing outfits and settling your baby back into a nice deep sleep so we can capture those lovely curly sleeping images.
Our Newborn Baby Mini Sessions last for approx. 45 minutes to 1 hour. During your mini session, our aim is to capture as many different beautiful poses resulting in 15 to 20 images for you to choose your favourite 5 images for your package, if you would like to purchase extra images you are more then welcome to, we will capture your beautiful baby either asleep or awake, whatever your baby is doing at the time.
For each Newborn Baby Mini Session the images we try to capture are set and specific and will be the same for each Newborn session. This is so we get a beautiful selection of images from your shoot for you to choose from. We may not have the time or the chance to try out or add different poses or props, as it would depend upon your baby being asleep for some of the props to be used safely, please note that we currently do not use headbands or hats, but you are more then welcome to bring your own, especially if part of an outfit.
Newborn Baby Mini Session – Plan
The images we are aiming for are:
- Timeless black & white parents portrait with a white background.
- Timeless black and white portrait of baby in arms.
- Timeless black & white parents with siblings and Baby
- Timeless black & white Siblings with abby
- Colour portrait of baby lying on back.
- Colour portrait close up of baby’s face.
- Colour portrait of baby lying on side.
We love to capture more than one pose with parents together with your baby and individually, so that you have a choice of poses when choosing your images.
Our Newborn Baby Mini Sessions are also perfect for those busy mammy’s who missed out on the traditional “newborn” stage of their baby’s lives, perfect for all babies up to 20 weeks old. However we love to capture babies of all ages, if your baby is over 20 weeks old we can still capture beautiful images, your baby is more likely to be awake, allowing us to capture those beautiful big smiles and wide awake eyes!
Its always good to be prepared and book your Newborn Baby Session in as early as you can, we try to book Newburn’s in for around 14 days after your due date on a floating date. If your baby arrives early or late, we always try to reschedule your shoot to suite yourselves.
Our newborn baby mini sessions are available any day of the week including weekends and are bookable by appointment only, all sessions take place in our studio which is based on Mountbatten Avenue, Hebburn, Tyne & Wear.
What time is best for you?
We will always discuss the best time with you for your babies shoots, as all babies are different and some may be better on mornings then afternoons.
We have three Newborn Baby Mini Session Packages for you to choose from:
- Package 1 – costs £150 and includes your shoot and 5 mounted 8” x 6” prints.
- Package 2 – costs £175 and includes your shoot and 5 digital images.
- Package 3 – costs £225 and includes your shoot, 5 mounted 8” x 6” prints and 5 digital images.
