Awesome paws competition
At Village Photography we love to give ourselves a good challenge and our Awesome Paws Competition is certainly going to challenge and keep us on our paws, helping us to raise funds for Guide Dogs for the Blind at the same time!!
We asked our friends on Facebook what their favourite breeds of dogs were, and they didn’t let us down, there is a few breeds that I’ve not heard of, fingers crossed we will find someone who has one of these breeds. If you have a breed of dog that’s not on the list, that’s fine we have a couple of mystery breeds on our list so you won’t miss out and still be able to take part..
The Challenge
We are looking to photograph as many of your favourite breed of dogs as we can. All shoots will take place in our studio which is based on Mountbatten Avenue, in Hebburn, Tyne & Wear.
To take part it costs £10 per dog which is donated 100% to Guide Dogs. Our aim is to raise £2500 to name and sponsor a guide dog puppy through its first year of training. Last year we raised £2500 and named our first Guide Dog Puppy Sophie, This year we currently have £780 raised leaving us £1720 to raise, our aim is to capture all the breeds of dogs listed below, if we can, then we will successfully hit our target.

The image below will be on display in our studio and each time we capture one of the the breeds we will pop a paw over the breed to show the remaining breeds we are looking for.

Your £10 donation includes your dog’s very own portrait experience, and entry into The North East Dog Portrait Competition giving you the chance to win one of three cash prizes.
We know that some breeds will be more popular than others so we are more than happy to capture breeds more than once, after all we are fundraising for guide dogs so the more we capture the more we raise for them. If your breed of dog isn’t on the list that’s fine just let us know and we can add it to the list, there is so many Designer Breeds that its hard to keep with them all.

Please note we are giving our time to capture your dog to take part in our challenge free of charge, we therefore have to ask for a £25 booking fee to secure your session with us, and this is purely to stop people from booking in and then not showing up, if you fail to arrive on the day of your shoot then your booking fee becomes non-refundable and will be donated to guide dogs, once we have completed your shoot we will deduct your £10 donation and return the £15 remainder on the day of your shoot.
