Capturing Your Childs Passion for their Hobby
Are you ready to showcase your child’s hobbies in a fun and memorable way? Look no further than Village Photography’s North East Hobbies Portrait Competition. Our competition not only celebrates your children’s interests in their hobby but also helps us fundraise for two fantastic local charities 4Louis and The Charlie and Carter Cookson Foundation, both dedicated to making a difference right here in the North East.
How The North East Hobbies Competition Works
You would bring your children into the studio, wearing their strip or uniform with some accessories they use to take part in their hobby, we would take a series of different images and you would then choose your favourite to enter into the competition.
How Much Does It Cost To Take Part?
We ask for a £10 donation per image. Your donation goes to our two charities 100%. Village Photography provide the prizes so that 4Louis and The Charlie and Carter Cookson Foundation share your donation in full. You donation helps support their valuable work and also gives your children the opportunity to shine in front of the camera.
Who Can Take Part In The North East Hobbies Competition
We welcome all children between the ages of 6 years and 16 years old, from all across the North East. Whether your children are passionate about sports like football, rugby, tennis, dance or any other sport, or if they are musical and play an instrument such as guitar, violin, trumpet or any other hobby they may love, we would be thrilled to capture them all in our studio.
If your little one’s hobby is horse riding, whilst we cant accommodate horses in our studio, you child can still bring in their riding gear and equipment, and for those who have a passion for speed, we can certainly capture your children on their pedal cycles, mountain bikes, motor cycles and go carts, All wheels must be cleaned and any fuel removed.
When Is The North East Hobbies Competition Judged?
Our competition closes for all entries on 23rd December 2024. We send off all entries to our independent judges between Christmas & New Year, we normally have the results within the first couple of weeks of January.
